Mitchell Eaton and Nancy Ji are architects from Melbourne, Australia. After graduating from the University of Melbourne, they have gone on to work for award-winning, local and international design-focused practices.
Mitch and Nancy are passionate about design across a range of mediums and scales including architecture, interiors, furniture and fashion. They have collaborated on a number of projects since 2014. Mitch was a finalist in the Australia Furniture Design Award in 2017 with his furniture piece ‘Brut’. Nancy was the winner of the 2016 Mercedes Design Award with her ‘Lily Tray Table’ and named emerging designer of the year at the 2017 Melbourne Fringe Furniture Festival by Craft Victoria.
The pair place a priority on function but aim to imbue each of their designs with a concept, playful personality or material exploration, to foster a closer connection between the end user and space or object.
