Apple Huang is a Graduate Architect and tutor at the University of Melbourne. Having spent the first half of her life on the island of Borneo, she has an affinity towards exploring the relationship between nature and the built environment.After several years as a Student Architect at Inarc Architects, a well-regarded architectural and interior practice, Apple is continuing to pursue her passion for bespoke architecture and interior design at Sonelo Design Studio. Beyond that, she continuously explores her interest in fabrication and the art of making. As part of Ex-Lab – an experimental furniture design laboratory at the Melbourne School of Design, her work, “Clare Table”, a piece made of recycled milk and shampoo bottles was shortlisted for the Salone del Mobile Milano 2018.
