Michael Chapman and Marissa Lindquist have collaborated widely on projects across the domains of architecture, interiors, art and installation. Michael is Professor of Architecture at UoN and Marissa is a Senior Lecturer at QUT. Their work uses processes from traditional drawing and making, paired with advanced industrial fabrication to create conversations between analogue and digital domains. A recent collaboration, BANQUET at Tin Sheds in 2022, was published (University of Sydney, 2022) and promoted within Sydney Design Week 2022. Individually, they have extensive track-records in research and creative practice. Professor Chapman’s work has been published in AD, ARQ, Interstices and exhibited at the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Museum of Melbourne, the State Library of Sydney and many other forums. Dr Lindquist’s work has been published in Bloomsbury, Docomomo International, IDEA, IASDR and represented at the Venice Architecture Biennale, University of London, Australian Institute of Architecture (Conference), Swell Sculpture by the Sea and others.
