Jordan is a furniture and object maker based on Kauna land in Adelaide. Working predominantly in timber, he pairs its natural warmth with sculptural carving and crisp textures. With a background in interior design, Jordan often takes influence from architecture and construction processes in both materiality and form. His design practice is small-scale with all the timber elements made by hand in his Adelaide studio. Jordan is an alumni of the JamFactory Furniture Studio and holds a Bachelor of Interior Architecture from the University of South Australia. He was a finalist in the Design Files + Laminex Design Awards (2021), was the joint winner of Denfair Front Centre (2020) and awarded the Workshopped Award for Design (2019).
